West Colfax Celebrates the Grand Opening of 3 New Small Businesses
West Colfax is celebrating the grand opening of 3 businesses this month!
Mint & Serif Coffee House celebrated their grand opening alongside All Its Own - a plant, local art and handmade goods shop in the Vance St. Hub alone West Colfax & Vance in the 40 West Arts District.
Mint & Serif is a locally owned and operated coffeeshop that have been long time supporters and of the 40 West Arts District and began the move to the Vance St. Hub over a year ago. They have waited a long time to reopen following a series of delays and of course the pandemic. More than just a coffeeshop, they are a gathering space (you know… for when that’s possible again), a family friendly shop, and art destination and more. They offer a rotating selection of beer (including WestFax Brewing) and wines, bento box snacks and other light offerings. Congratulations to the Hendrix family!
And to keep the community rolling they have also expanded their front space to include patio seating for safe social distancing (masks required, of course).
ALL ITS OWN, too, made the leap to move east on West Colfax at the end of 2019. Located inside Mint & Serif in the upstairs community space, this small shop offers a variety of plants - from succulents to air plants and our favorite moss balls! Congratulations William!
They are currently open from 7am to 8pm seven days a week! Stop by to see their new space!
Over at Lamar Station Plaza, beloved seafood restaurant Yabby Hut celebrated the opening of their second location last Tuesday! They are open for dine in during this time following all social distancing and masking guidelines. You’ll find them on the West side of the Plaza next to our friends at WestFax Brewing & Lakewood Arts Council.
Yabby Hut began construction on the old Hollywood store back in the fall of 2019 and held their soft opening last week.
If you’re looking for amazing seafood right here on West Colfax, you can’t miss them.
